The Caffè Latte

The Caffè Latte is 1/3 of Espresso and 2/3 of milk and steamed milk that forms a milky froth on top. Caffè Latte literally means ‘coffee (and) milk’. Another variant of Latte can be made by replacing the coffee part with chai or green tea and add flavored syrups (vanilla, caramel, hazelnut etc.)

The Caffè Latte contrary to the Cappuccino can be drunk hot or Iced with all the variants described above.
Always ask for ‘Caffe Latte’ if you are in an italian coffee shop or somewhere else abroad; the word ‘Latte’ means milk, so it means the waiter would bring you only milk…
